Before starting Nashville IT Health, Jeff Runion was CIO at Howell Allen Clinic. He ran technology for a physician practice group, the Hospital for Spinal Surgery, and St. Thomas Outpatient Neurosurgery Center. When a system went down in that world, it wasn't an annoying ticket. It was a patient safety problem.

That changes how you think about IT. You stop being reactive. You build systems that don't fail, and when something does go wrong, you fix it before anyone has to ask. Those are the standards we brought to Nashville IT Health when we started in 2007.

Since then, the work has expanded. We started with infrastructure management, added cybersecurity as threats got worse, and now help clients with AI strategy and custom applications.
